WHAT WE DO: Handelsbanken has a different perspective from most other banks. We believe that local people are best placed to make decisions involving their customers. We are free from sales targets, mass marketing campaigns or bonus incentives – everything we do stems from our focus on customer relationships. We provide full banking services to both personal and corporate customers, and tailor solutions to each customer’s specific needs.

All our customers deal directly with their own dedicated account manager based in their local branch, whom they can contact by phone, via email or face-to-face, and naturally we provide all of the up to date technology customers expect from a modern bank, such as apps and online banking, so customers have full choice of how they wish to interact with us. Customer satisfaction is our top priority and in 2016, for the eighth year running Handelsbanken was rated top for customer satisfaction and loyalty in an independent survey of British banks’ personal and business customers (EPSI, October 2016).
