WHO WE ARE: Oliver’s Coffee House – Established in 1986, we are a unique coffee house set in a former general provision merchant’s shop in the heart of Sherborne.
WHAT WE DO: Locally roasted coffee, delicious homemade cakes and range of light lunches served all day.
We pride ourselves in sourcing as much as possible locally. This includes our coffee roasted by Reads of Sherborne, eggs laid in Milborne Port, bacon from Parson’s, ham from Loder’s and vegetables from Market Town Garden. As well as this, we bake all our cakes and quiches on site so you can be assured of fresh, tasty snacks without any nasties.
The shop is laid out over three rooms giving a range of long communal tables, cosy alcoves and booths for groups. Additionally, in the summer months you’ll find our sunny courtyard perfect for an ice cream or cold glass of wine in the sun. Free wifi is offered for those of you who like to catch up on the day’s events or home workers who like to get out for an hour or so.
If you don’t have time to stop and join us we offer all our food and drinks to take away. This extends to whole cakes which can be made to order as well as buffet lunches for meetings or events. Just tell us what you need and we’ll be happy to provide options for you.
HOW TO REACH US: We can be found at 19 Cheap Street, Sherborne, DT9 3PU, right next door to Waitrose. You can speak to us on 01935 815005 or visit our website www.oliverscoffeehouse.co.uk. We can also be found on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
