Following the success of last year’s Queen Elizabeth Day, Sherborne is again planning another summer celebration.
Sherborne Summer Festival will be held on Saturday 17th June in Purlieu Meadow and will be from noon until 10pm. There will not be a parade like last year, but there will be two performance stages – one for bands and one for local acts involving schools and Sherborne Dance Academy. The Jo Burt Experience are headlining the day, with Sherborne Town Band opening the event. Other bands booked to play include The Wriggle Valley Jazz Band, Flatland Boogie Band, and Utter Chaos.
